Living at Home During a Remodel

Living in your home during a remodel is not for the faint of heart. If you find yourself living knee-deep in construction, be patient!
Check out this Celebration, FL townhome remodel:
Kitchen, Dining, Living - Open Concept
-
Before - Dining in was not an option!
-
During - Cabinets built to ceiling height maximizing storage. Kitchen island designed for entertaining while cooking. Island houses chef's sink, dishwasher, trash cabinet and multiple drawers.
-
After - Low maintenance flooring throughout the dining, kitchen and living areas creates seamless transitions between spaces. Adding dimmable, overhead lighting provides versatility for any occasion.
Butler's Pantry
-
Before - An unused nook in the original kitchen would become the butler's pantry.
-
During - As in the kitchen, wall cabinets were designed and built to ceiling height to maximize storage. Natural stone flooring in a herringbone pattern was chosen to make a big impact for the compact space. Both an under counter ice machine and wine refrigerator were installed in the base cabinet.
-
After - Hung a wall sized, decorative mirror to create the feeling of a larger space.
Master Bath
-
Before - The outdated master bath needed a facelift as well as some functional changes. The bath's lavatory was not private. Bath cabinets did not have drawers.
-
During - Custom vanity cabinet was designed to house power outlets in drawers for items such as hair dryers and curling irons.
-
After - Used timeless countertop and tile materials highlighted with marble shower and bath inserts. Replaced bath hardware with polished chrome bath fixtures, cabinet knobs and drawer pulls. Updated light fixtures and added a lighted, ceiling fan. Built a private lavatory.
